The Swiss have always considered themselves
to be like a Sonderfall (an exception). They smile
indulgently about their French neighbors with their
unwashed houses, unorganized cities, massive
strikes, unstable politics and badly run businesses.
Until recently Italy and Spain were judged even
more severely, that is to say, almost as if they were
third world countries. But the Swiss do not consider
themselves to be overly fanatic in any way.
Only the Germans are fanatics. The Swiss are disciplined. |
